Question

Nikon was looking for an innovative way to announce their new KeyMission 360 camera. This would be done at Photokina, the largest audio and video fair. Tens of thousands of enthusiastic visitors come here every year, who had to be drawn to Nikon’s booth in a natural way.

Solution

Together with Nikon, we came up with an experience that would bring out the true power of the KeyMission 360 camera. The use of 360 degree videos shot with the camera allowed users to experience the high quality that the camera brings. By presenting the video in Virtual Reality headsets, users could experience the quality in an innovative way. Through our VR Sync software it was possible to play the video in sync on all 40 headsets we brought. Our event staff ultimately ensured that all headsets were ready for use and helped end users with a flawless user experience.

Result

This resulted in the product activation being a great success. The tens of thousands of visitors became interested when they saw fellow visitors with a headset on and immediately wanted to experience it for themselves. Thanks to the VR Sync software, dozens of visitors could be helped at the same time and they could experience the quality of the camera with their own eyes.
